Deferred Action Program New Jersey Lawyers
DREAM Deferred Action Program (DREAMers)
The Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act, also known as the DREAM Act, allows young immigrants who were came to the United States under the age of sixteen to not be removed or deported from the country. This act, however, does not grant permanent citizenship status to the individual. The DREAM Deferred Action Program is a stop gap measure to deportation or removal, and gives the young immigrant two years of time to get proper paperwork in place to become a natural citizen, if that is what they desire. At the Law Offices of Jef Henninger, Esq., our tough DREAM Act attorneys are seasoned in immigration law and can help start the process of naturalization if the client so chooses.
